Lexus of Hobart Golf Invitational 2018 - Royal Hobart Golf Club

The Lexus of Hobart Golf Invitational was held at Royal Hobart Golf Club on a cool and overcast Summer's day. A great turn out was on hand to test their skills against the golf course and potentially win a Lexus with a hole in one on the 8th hole. Unfortunately the car was not won on the day!

Scoring was as close as it could be, with just 0.375 separating the winners from third place. Finishing on nett 56.75 were Rod Banks-Smith, Wayne Banks-Smith, Dean Banks-Smith & Keitha Banks-Smith who must be ruing the three bogeys they had during the round. The runners up were just 0.125 off the winning score thanks to their strong finish with three birdies in their last four holes. Well done to Jean Pierre Raymond, Tim Stewart, Peter Rosetto & Gaye Rosetto. Our winners shot the lowest score of the day of seven under par and managed to get around the course without a single bogey. Perhaps fittingly, they won the event with a score of 56.375. Congratulations to Greg Mathews (8), Pat Sullivan (16), Rob Windsor (18) & Lot Bosveld (27). 

The charity hole managed to raise $771 for the Cancer Council - thanks to all who contributed. 

Not only did one guest have a great day on the course, taking out first prize...his day just got a little better when he was also drawn out to win the Melbourne Cup Experience. Congratulatons Lot Bosveld...see you at the Lexus Melbourne Cup!
