Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club - 16th May 2019

The second of three Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitationals was held at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club, again under beautiful conditions. Over 100 guests took part in either the 18 hole event or the beginner golf lessons and the lunch room was full to capacity with the guest 'experiencing amazing' from Lexus of Chatswood. 

With perfect conditions, scoring was bound to be good - in fact, there were six teams within two shots of the runner up score! In third place on a count back with a nett 54.375 were Steve Bennet, David Loneragan, Jagi Rana & Mandeep Rana. They were one of three teams to shoot a great round of 63, but were the only ones to win a nett prize. Their round started well with a birdie and an eagle in their first ten holes, but it was the run of six birdies in their last eight holes that pushed them into third place on a count back.  The second place team of Chul Soo Chang, Hyo Sun Chang, Binh Lam & Dinh Lam had nett 53.875 after shooting 66. They were off to a quick start with three birdies in their first four holes, but they slowed down only having three more birdies for the rest of the round, however it was enough to secure second place. The winners beat the field by over a shot and a half with a nett 52.25. They had a great round of 64 that included seven birdies, one eagle (on the 1st, thanks to Alizah's drive) and one bogey. Congratulations to Peter Noble (10), Bill Rathborne (25), Kevin Kim (25) & Jessica Park (34).

The charity event on course and the Piranha golf club raffle raised in excess of $2,700 for Tour de Cure. Thank you to all who contributed! We also had the 'smash factor' hole on the 1st - see below for a collection of shots.

The opportunity for one Lexus owner to attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day. Congratulations to Paul Keen, who will have the opportunity to play Royal Melbourne Golf Club followed by a day at the races in the Lexus Design Pavilion for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
