2019 Lexus of Berwick Golf Invitational - Peninsula Kingswood Country Club

The inaugural Lexus of Berwick Golf Invitational took place at the stunning Peninsula Kingswood Country Club - a venue that will no doubt be the home of this event for years to come. Forty guests took part in either the 18 hole event or beginner golf lessons and got to 'experience amazing' on behalf of Lexus of Berwick.

In the past few years Peninsula Kingswood has undergone extensive renovation and guests were lucky enough to play the recently opened North Course. In the end there was less than a shot between the top two teams. In third place with nett 58 was the team of James Hawkins, Nathan Hawkins, Andrew Walker & Andrew Trezise who had a steady round with seven birdies and no bogeys. The runners up, were off to a fast start when they birdied their first three holes, unfortunately for them that momentum slowed and they too shot 65 to finish with nett 56 - well done to Eric Liu, Robin Lou, Jin He & Le Yu. The winners had a fine score of 66, that included seven birdies and a lone bogey. However, they had a few more shots to take advantage of and ended up winning by 0.375 of a shot with nett 55.625. Congratulations to Trevor Hamilton (18), Denise Toon (33), Doug Devlin (27) & Cameron Whiting (4).

The charity event on course raised $450 for the Soup Kitchen, Berwick - thank you to all who contributed. 

Ashleigh was managing the 'smash factor' hole on the 10th - see below for a collection of shots (including the winners smash factor of 1.53!).

The opportunity for one Lexus owner to attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day. Congratulations to Trevor Hamilton who will have the opportunity to play Royal Melbourne Golf Club followed by a day at the races in the Lexus Design Pavilion for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
